Darin Feth is a long term Las Vegas resident and president and CEO of the Award Winning Nite Tours International the world’s largest Club Crawl Company above all of this he is my friend. I asked Darin to give me some of the insiders tips and recommendations as to how to enhance the Vegas experience and this is what he has said.
NightLife, Night Clubs I like are Prive, The Bank, PURE, LAX, XS and Lavo. Best Come Back club I would have to say Studio 54 at MGM Grand great music. Best Bottle Service price is PURE Night club at Caesars or ROK at New York New York Hotel. Best Ultra Lounge Tabu, Caramel, Mist or Blush All GREAT!
Cool places the Mob hung out. Everyone wants to know where the Vegas Mob hung out. So, hit up Capozzoli’s Italian Restaurant, Piero’s Restaurant or the Peppermill. You can still feel the mob atmosphere Dining Experiences.
For class and a view I would pick Eiffel Tower at Paris Hotel, or the MIX at The HOTEL Mandalay Bay. Buffet my choice is Bellagio and for Steak Nin9e Steak House in the Palms and Brunch at Simons at the Palms pool.
Pool Parties. This is a toss-up as I love to go topless (if you know what I mean), Bare Pool at Mirage, Wet Republic at MGM or Nite Tours pool bash once a month at Morea Pool
Online Show Tickets. Go to “Vegas on Demand” purchase tickets for all shows, your tickets can go to your cell phone! Or ½ off tickets is great for left over seats that have not sold the day of the show.
Shows I Like. My buddy Louie Anderson at Excalibur, La Reve at Wynn, Phantom of the Opera at Venetian, (my neighbor) Steve Wyrick Magic Planet Hollywood, Penn & Teller.
Best Limousine service. Nite Tours 33 passenger nightclub on wheels or Nite Tours 16 passenger high-end Mercedes limo or Celebrity Coaches, Lou at Earth Buses or Peter Lee at Las Vegas Limousine.
Best hangover cure. Drink LOTS of Water, Gatorade, Rockstar, eat ginger, or just start drinking again! You can always find a drink 24/7 in
Vegas Free Shows on the Strip. Bellagio water show with music, the new Volcano at Mirage, Pirate show at TI, watching the drunks walk the strip is always good entertainment or the Bible thumpers yelling out “You are a Sinner”.
Best deals I have found on hotel rooms., Monte Carlo $49, Mandalay Bayall inclusive deal $99, , Luxor form $50, MGM Grand I like going to “Vegas Uncovered” for the best hotel deals.
Cool place to spend the day.Besides pool parties you should see Red Rock Canyon for hiking or the Grand Canyon. Rent a Ferrari or Lamborghini had and go for a ride!

When I first visited Las Vegas getting into clubs was a nightmare you end up standing in line for ages and then half the time don’t get in, you then have to tip the bouncer, the guy the with the clipboard, the waitress and this is on tip of paying a $40 cover charge. I don’t have that problem now since meeting my good friend Darin Feth and using his Nitetours service clubbing in Las Vegas has become easy, affordable and fun. Darin has provided me with is latest press release and offers which is listed below, I have had many friends both form the UK and US who I have recommended Nitetours to and without exception they have all had great nights. Las vegas StripBelow is what I tip, I am not saying that this is generous (I am mean) but its what I generally tip and only once has anyone acted in a way where they thought that I had not tipped enough. My tips are based on a mid range casino like MGM, Luxor or Monte Carlo if you are at a top hotel like Wynn, Mirage or Bellagio adjust up slightly and a cheaper property like Excalibur or Circus Circus slightly less.
Bell Boy – I generally tip $2 per bag when it arrives in the room I don’t generally tip the person who gets my stuff out of the trunk as the tips are pooled so they should be covered. I would do the same for the Bell boy who delivers my bags back to my car or taxi when I leave. Sometimes you can wait ages for your bags or for a Bell boy to come to your room I still tip as the Bell Boy is generally doing his best but in busy times there are just not enough of them employed by the hotel.
Check in clerk – I always tip the check in clerk before my room is assigned, if I want an upgrade using the $20 trick, even if its just for a view of the Vegas Strip then I tip at least $20 (see here). If I just want to make sure I don’t have the room by the kitchen extractor fan or with a stunning view of the third level of the parking lot maybe $10.
The Maid – the poor maid often gets forgotten about because you don’t see her, I always leave at least $3 per day for the maid, usually on the pillow or under a spent bottle of toiletries.
Dealers – I am slightly funny about this I rarely tip a dealer directly but if I am doing well I put small side bets for the dealer every now and again, when I leave the table if I am up I will usually tip the dealer about 5% up to about $50. I have had many dealers in Las Vegas who I have found either moody or boring in this case regardless of what I win I will not tip.
Cocktail Waitresses –In Las Vegas all drinks are free whilst you are playing if they are served to you by a cocktail waitress but you need to tip.If I am just passing and don’t expect to stay I tip $1 – $2 per drink if I am going to be there for a while I tip $5 per drink for the first one then usually $1 per drink after that. See here for more detail.
Barman – I tip $2 – $5 per round up to 5 drinks I think that this is probably on the stingy side but that is what I tip. In London you dont usually tip a barman but this is expected in Las Vegas.

Valet Parking – There is no charge for valet parking in Las Vegas (except at the Four Seasons) so tip the guy, but only when you collect your car usually tip $2 if I want it quickly and ask and I get it quickly thi.s can become $5 – $10
Guy that calls the cab, outside most hotels there is a guy who calls the cab and opens the door for you, most people tip him $1 I don’t I am happy an capable of calling a cab myself just not allowed to.
Cab Driver – This depends if it’s a very short trip under say $6 I give the change to $10, this is to compensate the cabbie for the time he has spent waiting and the fact he could have got a better fare. $6-$10 generally the change and a couple of dollars $10 upwards the change + 20%. If the cab driver is moody or if he takes me what I think is a long route he won’t get tipped he wont like it but he wont get tipped. I am on vacation I am paying for a service and part of that service is his attitude.

Las Vegas Casino Resort Wedding Chapels
Almost all of the resorts have an on site wedding chapel an offer a wide selection of wedding packages to suit all tastes and most pockets. The packages at the resorts are usually slightly more
expensive than than the traditional Vegas wedding chapel but they tend to be more elegant and offer a higher level of quality and of service and give a real feeling of grandeur. All resorts will offer packages that should include everything that you need from flowers and photographers to music and dressing rooms, most will be able to offer live web streaming of your ceremony so people at home can watch on the internet. I think that the single biggest advantage of getting married in a resort chapel is that you and your guests will be waiting in a luxurious air conditioned environment rather than possibly having to wait outside. If you stay at the resort you are getting married in you can get ready in your own room and walk down when you are ready, if you choose to have your reception in
the same resort then other than for any photographs that you may want you can stay in side the resort the whole day keeping nice and cool. You also remove the need to hire limos to transport you and your guests from the chapel to the reception. Although you could have your ceremony and reception in one resort there is nothing to stop you having the ceremony in one resort and the reception in another, the advantage with this is again if you are moving from one resort to another whilst waiting for your transport you are doing so in an air-conditioned environment.
Bellagio” Wedding Venue
Bellagio is the luxury flagship resort of the MGM Mirage Group. Its themed as an Italian village aside a beautiful lake it has won 5 Diamond stars and is without doubt one of the most luxurious resorts in Las Vegas. Bellagio boasts two wedding chapels the East Chapel for small intimate affairs for up to 30 guests and the South Chapel that can hold over 130. If you want pure luxury for your wedding day then you need to take a look at Bellagio, click on the picture and it will take you to the wedding section of their web site.

Everyone knows that Vegas is allways changing and allways reinventing itself every year there is somthing new and better, it’s a solid bet that when in Vegas you will allways see men in construction hats and mechanical diggers and hear the noise of building somwhere on The Strip. Below is a report from a guy who arrived back from Vegas at the end of last weekand gave the following report on the current building activity on The Las Vegas Strip.
Luxor - big changes happening inside, losing the egyptian theme, half of the casino area done already, reception area still the same.
New York, New York – part of the casino area closed off (the stage part), due to be finished late this year.
Planet Holywood – Casino area finished now (looks very impressive), pool area and shops still in the old Aladdin style.
CITY CENTRE – WOW – major bguilding site!!! I last went to Vegas 10 months ago, and cannot believe how far they have got with it all.
Monte Carlo – I feel sorry for those staying the this hotel if you want to spend time by the pool. This is currently open to non-residents and I can see why, it is surrounded by building work so close from the CITY CENTRE project, really noisy!!
Caesars Palace - New tower being built, but causes no disruption as building work is off the strip really.
Mirage – Volcano closed (due to re-open late this year), Moving walkway closed. All rooms being renovated – there is a disply of the rooms in the reception area (looks really good).
TI (Treasure Island) – stayed there and all rooms being renovated (these are really nice).
Palazzo – casino/rooms and shops all finished – very impressive looking. There is building work across from the TI where it looks as though they are building some sort of shopping mall!!

Darin Feth, President of Nite Tours is a great friend of mine and I have asked him to write about what has been going on at Nite tours and also some tips for visitors to Vegas whch will feature in forthcoming posts. Nite tours is the premier way to get the best out of the club scene in Vegas it avoids the lines, the expense and general pains that you usually get trying to get into clubs in Las Vegas.
For the month of May had over 3,000 people from around the world join us on our World Famous Club Crawl. People from Australia, Beijing, Seoul, Denmark, Amsterdam, Italy and lots of drinking/partying Canadians. We also saw an increase in Americans on our tours and an increase of local Vegas residents on Nite Tours as it is so inexpensive to go on Nite Tours even the locals use it.
VIP Club Limo Crawls
For $69 per lady and $79 for men You receive VIP Access to 3 of the Best clubs (no line and all cover paid) 2008 limo party bus (like a nightclub inside), all you can drink beverages, VIP Hosts and so much more!
Nite Tours fetaure the following premier clubs and bars
CARAMEL, PURE, PREVI, THE BANK, TRYST, LAX, THE MIX, PLAYBOY/MOON, TAO, JET, GHOST BAR, RAIN, VOODOO, IVAN KANES 40 DEUCE, AND MANY OTHERS

There are some good really good buffets on the Strip Bellagio is amazing, Cravings at Mirage is stunning and probably represents the best value, Mandalay Bay is home to my personal favorite, but the Las Vegas buffet crown now goes to Wynn and best of all with a little cunning you can sample this for free.
1. Sign up for the Red Card and you get $10 in free play, if you give them an email address you will get an additional $5
2. Check how many points are needed for the buffet it’s normally it’s 25 points
3. Go to a video roulette machine
4. Put $40 in the machine and activate your free play.
4. Bet $18 on black, $18 on red, and $1 on 0 and $1 on 00
5. Repeat step 4 six more times.
6. You should lose $2 per spin for all 7 spins, and will have $41 left in the machine, if 0 or 00 come in you will lose $4 but this is unikley to come in more than once. Cash out and head to the players club to activate your buffet

Ross, a very good friend of mine is off to Vegas for his Stag (bachelor) night in Las Vegas from London for three nights from October 3rd 2008, so watch out Vegas over this weekend. He wants a real “Rock ‘n’ Roll lifestyle weekend, going to LAX, Pure, Cat House, JET, Playboy, Mist, Rain, Tryst, Voodoo Lounge , Caramel, and all the top clubs so I have got in touch with my friend Darin Feth at Nitetours who will sort all this out for them.
He asked me to find if there were any discount rates available for this period and here is what I found the rates are for 3 nights from October 3rd based on 2 in a room I hope that these can help someone but please accept apologies for the format. All of these rates are direct with the hotels so the $20 Dollar Upgrade trick can be tried which may offer even greater value on these all ready amazing rates
Ultimate Luxury at Luxor
• Deluxe Room Accommodations
• Room Rate discounted 15% below the Prevailing Nightly Rate
• $30.00 Dining Credit (Good at FUSIA our Asian Inspired Restaurant)
• 2 for 1 Lunch Buffet at MORE
• 2 for 1 Admission to The SPA at Luxor
3 nights $433 per room for Pyramid room $662 for Spa suite this is per room not per person based on 2 sharing it’s a bit more if you have more in the room and the suites can only be booked for two people. I would recommend if there are a few of you getting 1 suite to meet up in.
New York New York – 3 nights $539 per room this is a bargain it’s a better hotel than Luxor or Excalibur by a mile and probably your best value for money. Once booked this can not be cancelled.
Mirage - $568 per room My favorite resort on the Strip couple of good bars and an ar**hole dealer who looks like the bloke from terminator but probably at the wrong end of the strip for you still it’s a very good price for this hotel.
MGM Maximum Escape -3 nights $749 this rate is the only one currently available for October all the rest end at the end of September
·$25 Bar and Restaurant Credit (per stay)
·2 for 1 spa facilities pass
·15% off Spa Services
Excalibur 3 Nights $373 – You can not cancel this one once booked Excalibur is fine it’s not as nice as the Luxor or MGM and has no bars or clubs but is next door to MGM, NYNY and Luxor but it may not be quite what you want
Best Deal on the web for Mirage from $72 a night ! – valid until 28th December 2008
Best Excalibur rates from $41 per room per night
MGM Grand from $49 per night
Other discount codes and great rates on my blog
